Railway Raid patch notes: 5/3/2018

-Gameplay

  • Win and lose animations
    • Win/lose screens have short animations that play depending on the outcome of the level.
  • New level
    • Added 4th level, Winter ruins
  • Key-mapped controls/hotkeys
    • Players can use the 1 - 5 keys to change the trains speed instead of clicking the buttons.
  • Mini-map update
    • New UI elements for the mini-map

-General

  • Added new level, Winter ruins
  • Player can control the train via hotkeys
  • Animations added for when the player either wins or loses

-UI

  • Mini-map upgrade
    • Mini-map now has a compass rose, shows enemy movement/positions, and the range of your support cars.
  • Updated level select map
    • Level select map better accommodates the 4 levels  

-Fixed from last build

  • Drifting/floating enemies
    • Enemy splines have been lowered so they are actually on the terrain
  • Broken planes
    • Planes now function as enemy units.
  • Assault train doesn’t attack enemies
    • Assault trains turrets have been programmed to attack enemies now.
  • Missing textures
    • All enemies have they’re proper textures

-Known Issues

  • Broken train switch
    • A train switch on the snowfield level doesn’t work properly. Has been resolved now and should be working in the final build.
  • Broken win states
    • Win state doesn’t activate on the woodland, winter ruins, and snow field levels. Has been resolved now and should be working in the final build.
  • Return to main menu broken
    • Return to main menu button on the pause screen still breaks the build upon use. Has been resolved now and should be working in the final build.
