Production Blog 4 - Guilded Fletching
Hello again everyone! For anyone new, I am Tyler Munstock, the Producer for Guilded Fletching. Sprint 4 was very eventful for The Fletcher's Guild, we were able to complete 74 points which again is the most points the team has been able to accomplish in one Sprint, every sprint we keep increasing how much work we can complete in two weeks and it's absolutely amazing to see for Alex and me! Now let's get into this amazing work I am so excited to show you all!
Programming:
During this sprint, we were able to accomplish some really awesome things on the Programming side of things. We were able to implement some of our finished animations into the game to test how they would look from the Player's perspective and it looks absolutely great! We were also able to create a drawbridge that is activated from a lever that can be placed at any position in the world, this will be great for Level Designers when creating more puzzle levels within the game. Finally, we were able to update our Menus with a new font we have discovered to spice them up a little bit. See the images below for examples of the awesome work our Programmers were able to accomplish this Sprint!

Level Design:
This Sprint we kept our team of Level Designers working hard on finalizing blockouts based on any feedback we gained from the previous playtest, as well as doing a small bit of testing within their levels to get a feel of what the final version's of these levels will look like and function in certain aspects. We absolutely cannot wait to show you all the final versions of these levels they are going to be absolutely spectacular. Check out the images below for some great examples of the work they accomplished this Sprint.

3D Art:
During this Sprint, our 3D Artists put in some amazing work on finishing up the texturing of our remaining arrows, as well as the remaining outdoor assets we had. In this time we were able to get our Airburst Arrow and Warp Arrow textured and they look absolutely fantastic, the 3D Artists really took the design and look of the 2D Concepts and made them a reality, they look incredible. As well as the Temple Door and the various Trees we have will be outstanding additions to our outdoor levels. We can't wait for you all to playest our levels with all of the new assets in place! Check out the images below for examples of the awesome work the 3D Art team was able to accomplish this Sprint!

2D Art:
As always our One Woman 2D Art Army has created some incredible work for our Level Select screen. She had created a background, locked icon, unlocked icon as well as arrows that will be placed on both sides of the screen to allow players to progress to the next or previous screen of levels. Alex and I are so excited to get these implemented into the game and have the finalized version of our Level Select screen. Moving forward we are going to get art for the rest of our menus and have the game looking more beautiful than ever! Check out the images below for some examples of Haley's amazing art she completed this Sprint!

Animation:
This Sprint we had our Animator Daniel create some really amazing animations for the Player, this Sprint we were able to complete a seamless walking animation, fully charged bow animation as well as the firing animation for the Bow. That means all of the Bow animations are now complete as well as all of the animations for the Player other than taking damage and dying. We can't wait for you all to play our game and see the amazing animations we have! Check out the images below for some great examples of Daniel's work this Sprint!

Every sprint they seem to complete more and more work and the quality of this work also just seems to get better and better which is nothing short of absolute greatness on the team's part. Thank you to the team all for the amazingly hard work you put in these past two weeks, I cannot wait to see the quality and quantity of work we're able to achieve and accomplish next Sprint! And thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this, I cannot wait to show you all what's to come in our Fifth Sprint and upcoming playtest!
