Captain's Log: Sprint 3 Review (2/23/19 - 3/8/19)


Another really good week for the team! Though we did run into a few speed bumps along the way we are still chugging along at a good pace!

First off with our concept art team we got a lot of great art for the building exteriors which we will be modelling and implementing this next week! We also got some fantastic clothing artwork that will help the modelers tremendously when they get to all that!

As for the modelers, we got a ton of food props done; we redid the interior tavern walls, ceilings, and floors; and we got the toon shader we wanted to use finalized!

In the animation department we are a little held up by some issues with the Sit Down animation and the rig being fixed up by the shared rigger which is keeping most of them from doing any final animations. But we did get most of the last of the blockouts finished which is great for moving forward!

And finally, in the build for this sprint, we implemented almost all of our models, we implemented the player going to sleep, and a base form of the upgrade mechanic!

Overall some great progress, though maybe a bit less than last sprint. But with what we have now, we are in a great position to start creating and implementing the "outside world"!
