Captain's Log: Sprint 2 Review (2/9/19 - 2/22/19)
What an outstanding sprint! We made huge leaps forward this time around!
First of all, we got some great concept art to really nail down the style that we are going for. Many props, the character features and facial expressions were all completed giving the rest of the team the information to keep ploughing forward!
With those concept pieces, the modelers were able to go back and give texture to the models they were working on last sprint and created some great stuff like props, modular pieces, and lighting pieces!
We also got the main character model finalized, rigged, and animated! At least with the first set of emotions. We have 7 more sets planned out to really make the world seem varied and colorful.
We were also able to implement a play cycle of the entire tavern scene where the player will be taking orders from patrons, preparing those orders, and then serving them. We implemented the animations we had, and some but not all of the models.
Overall we made some great leaps this sprint and its awfully exciting going into the next one!
